Here are some walk cycles. I was experimenting with pacing to make the man an "average" long-stride walker and the woman an irritated hasty walker.
March 3, 2020 Update
I've added a moving background to each of the walk cycles. In Toon Boom Harmony Essentials, I set the keyframes for the starting and ending positions. Then I added keyframes every 2 frames to line up with the exposure of the drawings. Finally, I changed all the in-between frames to stop-motion keyframes. This makes the background motion line up with the character to prevent the character from sliding forward.
March 20, 2020 Update
This walk cycle is of a large man whose arms swing out more. His walk is slightly slower than the average man's.
Here is an animation for the final output of the superhuman male drawing I made. The final image can be found on the Gallery page.
Update (8/24/2019): I am currently taking commissions on Fiverr.com, and will not be using a contact form on this page. Pricing and services may vary. Click this link to be directed to my cartoon artwork "Gig." I am currently available to take commissioned art requests. The examples shown are not the extent of my styles, and more examples can be found on the Gallery page. Here are my prices: These prices do not include third-party card processing fees.
The first revision of artwork before coloring is free; anymore revisions before coloring will be equal to the price of the Black and White Ink version of the artwork. The first revision of colored artwork is free; anymore revisions will be equal to the price of the Flat Color version of the artwork. I mainly draw in a cartoon or realistic-comic style, but I also can draw any combination of the two. Anything that involves realistic proportions will be realistic-comic, and anything that is disproportionate will be cartoony. If you are interested in receiving art from me, please contact me using the form below. I have taken a break from the second of the five animated shorts that I wanted to complete before the beginning or end of Spring of this year. While production may resume shortly, I doubt it will be finished before Spring arrives. Given the fact that the other three shorts are not conceptually concrete, it is not likely that I will have five shorts done by this Spring, let alone this Fall. It was nice to have the ambition for this goal, but it's even nicer to have a reasonable rate to work on these videos.
This is a teaser-style animation that could represent a game or graphic novel. This initiated from trying to visualize the scorn of society during the time of Jesus in the first century.
Here are a few more title animations that I made in HitFilm Express. "Sandstorm" had been pretty much done for a while, while "Hidden Code" was made a day ago.
Here is a 30-second fake commercial for a fictional gym membership. This was made in HitFilm Express. This is to show a bit of my video editing and motion graphics skills.
I have completed the short video titled "Convenience."
"Convenience" metaphorically depicts how people may take advantage of the idea of convenience. The coloring phase took at least 187 hours, probably closer to 200 hours. In total, the animation process took over 887 hours to complete. The video can be viewed on the Gallery page.
This is the clean-up of my animated short. The total cleanup time is about 287 hours and 36 minutes.
My hope is that by the Spring of 2019, I would have 5 animated shorts completed, one of which I am currently working on. I would like to enter a few --maybe even all of them-- into film festivals. Some ideas have come to mind as plots, which I am grateful for. These were not contrived, and in my experience, the best ideas come without my trying to force it upon myself.
I’ve finished the sketch animation of the short video I’ve been working on. Here is a sample of the scenes. I am working in 30 frames per second.
